Easter is part of Holy Week where the crucifixion of Jesus
is celebrated in the "Good Friday" and the "Easter Sunday"
Resurrection and his first appearance to his disciples celebrated.
Easter is the most important celebration of the Christian
Church, where the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is commemorated on the third day
after being crucified, according to the canonical Gospels. The word Easter
comes from the Latin "páscae" which in turn comes from the Greek
"πάσχα" (pasjua), an adaptation of the Hebrew "
פסח" (Pesach), which means
"pass" or "jump".
